Ms. Manor's series Croppy Boy with it's signature piece, The Croppy Boy is dedicated to the Irish hero Michael Collins. This image is symbolic of The Irish Rebellion of 1798, where the Irish emboldened by the French Rebellion attempted their own uprising for freedom. The Irish uprising was named The Croppy Boy Rebellion after the French rebels who had cropped their hair as a symbol of the rebellion.
